According to Coy's report of their auction results, the car actually sold for 82,520 Euros - Coys As a 2600 owner, I like the idea that someone somewhere would pay $120,000 for a nicely restored Spider. Apparently, however, this auction was afflicted with Chandelier bidding (See Conde Naste article -http://www.portfolio.com/views/blogs/market-movers/2007/11/30/chandelier-bidding-in-padua), so we may have to wait for further confirmation of this new price point.
