Alfisti,
I am going to rebuild a 2.5 engine to replace one in my Milano because of excessive oil consumption and 160K!
I have never rebuilt a 2.5 engine (many 1.6 and 2.0L engines) and wanted to know if there is any useful "tricks" I should do the to block, heads, crank and pistons (like cross drilling the block on the 2.0L) to help the life and increase performance of the engine? I have scoured the BB and have not found anything on a 2.5 engine rebuild, so any helpful comments would be greatly appreciated.
The engine will be stock other than considering using 164 S cams.
A good shove in the right direction is what I am looking for...
Cheers,
Chip
