Ian, those wheels look great ! Are you sure you don;t want to fix this car up and have it as a spare? Its way too nice to crush and I don;t have room for it otherwise I would buy it!

Reminds me of that old National Lampoon cover, buy this magazine or we'll shoot this dog!!! Find me $1000 or we'll crush this car!!!

Look in the background Bob, another 164 and 2 Maseratis plus 2 more cars and a Model T Ford project, and a partridge in a pear tree. I guess mom was right when she said "You can't save 'em all".

Still, seems a shame to crush a good running car...

Sounds more like tranny needs accumulator spring not governor seals which can also be replaced without removing tranny but, on a 24v maybe a bit diffrent process due to electronically controlled valve body with its solenoids and wiring connectors.
