You're about $1200 too high. Here's a fully functional running 164 with new water pump and T-belt replacement by a noted specialist: 1990 ALFA ROMEO 164L

Maybe in Texas non running 164's are worth $1500 but I bought my low mileage 164 that runs great for $2000.

AlfaTango 1, So a non-running 164L with engine, transmission, rims, tires, doors, etc is only worth $300? (since $1500 is $1200 too high). Still available for sale for best offer.

Well, the truth is, it's worth exactly what someone will pay for it. $1500 may be too high, $300 may be too low. Hard to guess, but used 164 prices, running or not, are usually rather low, unless they are in really good/pristine low mileage condition.

One thing, selling one, regardless, will take time, sometimes lots of time until the right person comes along. You can not get in a hurry.

In your Ads place tags of similar cars or cars that you know there buyer will consider yours at bottom. Press the enter key 10 times then list all the cars. It should put your car up if they search any on your list. A lot or most people don't know these cars exist to be honest... better still copy and paste a link into the ad of an Alfa promotional film from the 90's showing one hammering around test track to wet their appetite.!! SOLD

Well, when a new poster comes to this site where the most knowledgeable 164 owners come daily, I feel it's a duty to guide them in the right direction. First the post doesn't say anything about why it doesn't run. Is it a blown engine? No details, I'm going assume the worst. Second, no pictures. Is the body perfect? Is the interior perfect? Then it may well be worth a lot more. Until those details are given along with pictures I doubt you'll get any interest. And yes, a non running 164 (parts car) can be had for around $300. I know of two within an hour of me right now.
