If you mean the sheet metal item pictured below, then yes, the Spider is supposed to have a 'spacer'.

I saw some transmission spacers on ebay. I pull my motor and transmission out to repair some leaks and it don't have a spacer between the motor & transmission. Does the Spider have one? Couldn't find it in the manual.
