Help I have been trying to remove the knee pad (on the driver side) to gain access to remove the guage console. I am 240 LBs and I am trying to see up under it to remove it. I have removed the two screws by the door and I have dropped the fuse panel and I have not been able to figure this one out. I am open to any ideas Thank you

Your knee pad is actually two, right? Or do you have the one piece 'Enblock'? If it's the two piece, you just swing the bolster down, unhook that hinge that holds the fuese box. The bolster swings on two 'pegs' at each end and should have some play left and right. You pull the bolster towards you into the left socket a little deeper, then you can maneuver the right hand peg out of it's socket in the other bolster.

I believe it is a 2 piece the console divides it and I can puh the console in and see the knee pad ends there. When I pull the piece off the fuse panel it swings down below the knee pad. But I have not figured out how to get the knee pad to swing down. I pulled pretty hard and the outside closest to the door moves but the other side of the driver side knee pad will not move. Thank you very much for your response.

Ok I was incorrect the Alfa gods decided that I must have more character so they gifted me with a single dash. The book does not tell you how to remove the single dash. So I pulled the seat so I can now do the sea cow move to get under the dash. (Man does it inhale getting fat and having a small car)
