I bought this car 3 years ago and have spent most of that time working on it to bring it up to the very good condition that it is in now. There are no mechanical problems with this car, and there is absolutely no rust anywhere.

The list of Items I've repaired or restored is too long to list here, but some highlights are:

  • Remove cylinder head for valve job, replace exhaust valve guides, install new head gasket with improved square cut Viton quad rings.
  • Recore the radiator
  • Replace engine mounts and transmission mount.
  • Install IAP tubular headers and new catalytic converter
  • Install ANSA sport exhaust
  • Re-upholster both seats
  • Install new Pirelli P6 tires
  • Install new heater blower

The only weakness of this car is the typical weak 2nd gear syncro's that most Alfa Spiders suffer from. Quick shifts to 2nd gear require double clutching (which I've become very good at !!). Other than that this car could be driven any distance.

The odometer shows 58,000 miles, but the actual mileage of the car is unknown, as the odometer was broken and fixed shortly before I purchased the car.

Some extra parts are included, such as an extra alloy wheel, some alternate exhaust components, and various spare parts.
