Selling my 87 Milano to buy more interesting Alfas. I’ve done a lot of work recently to it.
I got the car with a leaking water pump and no clutch pedal.
So far I’ve done,
- car has a nice custom exhaust system that sounds great
About the car:
It is a base Silver model with no sunroof,
Seats and door panels are from a 75 America and are in great condition. The grill is also off the same car.
The prior owner was an Alfa mechanic and this was his wife’s car, he also maintained the car for years prior to his purchase and I have all the service records from that time period.
It has a trailer hitch and 164S wheels.
Things it does need is a set of new tires, they are old and cracked from sitting.
Paint isn’t great but presentable, the hood looks the worst, could use as is or repaint. Various dents and dings around the car. There is rust at the wheel arch on the right side, however this is the only spot of rust on the car. It is a California and Georgia car it’s entire life (documented). Underside has no rust.
Shifts into 2nd well even when cold.
I also have a partial Verde kit available, missing front front bumper and right front wheel arch.

So far I’ve done,
- New timing belt with Zat Staybelt tensioner
- All shaft seals replaced with brown Corteco seals and new o rings
- Adjusted valve clearances, along with new gaskets and spark plug well seals
- new water pump
- new belts, haven’t reinstalled a/c belt yet but included
- all new Bosch connectors for injectors and temp sensors
- some old injectors were partially clogged, replaced with a complete good set along with fuel rail off a running engine
- Clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder, and clutch hose were all replaced
- majority of the fuel hoses have been replaced
- new fuel pump and filter
