I'd check the hydraulics first. Have someone sit in driver seat and press the clutch. Watch the piston on the trans and see if it extends 5/8 inch or so. Have em hold pedal down and see if it stays extended. Then release the pedal and see if it returns quickly. If hydraulics check out I would suspect clutch is bad ( fingers broken off)
