Starting in 1986, Alfa added a knee bolster under the dash. Does this have to be removed before the dash can be removed? I have removed in and earlier spider. Two bolts and two wing nuts. Is the later S3 more difficult?
Thanks

Yes the bolster needs to be removed. Several "hidden" screws, bolts. Radio needs removed. Console sides need removed. Two plugs on either end accessible when doors are open. Dash itself has the two wingnuts and the two end screws. Pretty straightforward but look for fasteners whenever resistance is felt.
Cheers, Jon
