SOLD!

I bought this GTV6 in 1986 at Beach Imports (Newport Beach, CA), it was one of the last ones to be imported. Afterwards it moved with me to FL, and later on with my dad to Knoxville, TN. It was driven regularly (and always garaged) until 7-8 years ago; since then it has been driven only a few times, and in the past 4-5 years it hasn't left our driveway/street. It is kept under double cover.

The car was started up last week when I visited my father, but it will need some work: vibration in drive shaft (?), new clutch, wipers, AC, new battery, and a proper servicing. The electrics will need to be checked. The 2.5 V6 is rock solid and with some TLC will be good to go.

The car has minimal rust. The interior has some bits and pieces that are loose or broken, but it is driveable and not too scruffy.

The pictures are of the car unwashed, as-is from under the covers. Only the interior and the windows were wiped down for the pics.

The car is in Knoxville, TN. There are no Alfa specialists around, so the car is sold as-is.

93k miles.

I'm convinced this is a great project car that doesn't need a lot of restauration, just some fixing up and she can go pretty quickly.

Have an '82 Spider Veloce in very similar condition. '82 Model year is one of 5 or so most desirable model years for the spider, I'm sure you know. Would be willing to consider trade, in any arrangement; car, cash and car in either direction, or otherwise. although it seems as though your situation is simply trying to get rid of a car and not get another one. Doesn't the 82 spider have those big tacky ugly black rubber bumpers? Why would it be more desirable than a 72 with the beautiful chrome (stainless) bumpers?

Did I miss something? What was the asking price and what did it sell for? If you don't mind my asking. I am looking to buy one. My first and only was baught for 700 bucks on e-bay a few years back. It would appear that prices have risen considerably. Regards Located in SF Bay Area.
