The center piece of the rear spoiler on one of my spiders has a lot of surface rust on the metal part underneath the black plastic part. I would like to remove that part and treat the rust then reinstall it. It looks like the metal part is riveted to the plastic part but some of the smaller rivets look difficult to replace once removed without damaging the plastic part.
Also, the center brake light is loose in the spoiler and I cannot see how is supposed to be attached and it looks to be inaccessible without removing the metal part.
I searched the forum but could not find any help.
Have any of you ever gotten into a spoiler and done this type of repair?
Thanks
Well, thanks to Veloce89 and spiderserie4, I got the spoiler apart, fixed the broken brake light tab and welded in a new stud where one of the four was broken. Now time for reassembly.
Thanks
