(italics added for emphasis). I don't know how/where the GTV6 measures oil pressure for the fuel pump circuit but maybe that is something worth investigating?
The inertia switch completely cuts the power to the pump. It wouldn't be a bad idea to check it but I would guess that it would only fire up once or twice with the residual fuel pressure if that was the case. It is a little tan canister near the passenger (US) side firewall. It has pink(?) wires going into it. You can see if the button on top is popped up.
