Hi I have a 1982 Spider that needed a new fuel pump. After replacing both the one in the tank and the other exterior, the car ran great for all of one day. Then it just died on me. No lights, no horn, clock, etc. Fuses all look ok. Am I overlooking some master on/off switch?!? is there a relay or other device that controls power to the entire car?

Check the battery cables, especially the ground side where it connects to the chassis.
