just to wrap things up, could you once more do that exact test and let us know the difference now?

Hello! Really good point for future reference.

The coil + to the engine now ( fixed problem ) with ignition ON shows 12.5V ( before 10.5 V) -- no drop at all from battery.

The coil + to coil - with ignition ON shows 0 v!!!! Before it showed 7.5 ~8 V... very interesting , or maybe as you said this is irrelevant voltage.

yeah, I wouldn't worry about coil + to - reading
