Does anyone know if any other GTV6 year model wiring harness will work with an '81. I have a project car that the entire harness from the fuel injection computer has been eaten by mice from the firewall out and need to replace. I found an '83 harness but don't want to waste my money.

THE EARLY GTV6 HARNESSES ARE ALL INTERCHANGEABLE BUT LOOK OUT.

If the mouse ate your injector harness you want anothjer injector harness not a wiring harness. There are two distinct wiring harnesses in the gtv6. one for the fuel system one for everything else and they only cross connect a few plugs. Be sure you get the one you need.

There are actually three distinct harnesses under the hood of the GTV6.
1. Fuel injection
2. Ignition
3. "main" harness (wipers, lights, horn, alternator, fan, etc)

I have the first two for sale from my 85 GTV6 - see the classified section. Both in good condition. I'm going with a megasquirt controlling both the ignition and injection.

Changing any harness is a bear.
