OK after rebuilding the entire fuel delivery system with new pumps, new filters, hose lines I thought Mr Spica would start and run. Fuel pressure light comes on and off in less than a second so it would appear pressure is good. The CSS seems to produce a start but dies after about 1-2 seconds as the starter disengages and the key goes to run. So I pulled the FCS wire which I thought might be the problem. No change. Any suggestions for next steps?

Is the coil energized when the ignition switch is in 'run'

I have just started to look at electrical as a cause as I can't find anything more to test on the SPICA.

I measured voltage on the coil in run and found it to be 11.7 volts. The battery is new and fully charged at 12.5 volts. The primary coil resistance is 3.5 ohms which seems high. This car also has a very old Marelli Plex. These are still made so I am going to order a few parts from Centerline next week. I guess the ignition module could be the culprit. Any ideas?
