1978 Alfa Romeo Alfetta GT w/ 2 liter Twinspark (1989)
The Good:

These engines are a direct fit for the drive shaft, motor mounts and exhaust down pipe.
116 series.
Twinsparks give the Alfetta the horsepower they should have had to begin with.
Better mileage, more horsepower, more low-end torque, lower emissions and
very reliable Bosch Motronic fuel injection.
I bought this car from Clark via the AlfaBb he bought it from a car collector in Southern California in 2003, then dropped the engine in a year later.
Great oil pressure
Runs cool
Clutch is strong
GTV-6 sport rear coils (IAP)
Recent flex disks and drive shaft carrier & bearing. (Spare set included)
New spark plug wires, caps and rotors
Recent NOS carpet
European stainless steel bumpers 110 amp GM alternator
Momo Tuner steering wheel
Racing seats
GTV-6 rear tail lenses
GTV-6 Interior panels
Black coco mats
Drilled front rotors (IAP)
Recent rear calipers (IAP)
Recent front & rear wheel bearings
Recent water pump

2 recent trans mounts
Shankle Sure Shift
Shankle sway bars

Shankle rear spoiler
14" Cromodora CD35 magnesium rims

Good sounding exhaust with correct Ansa rear section
Brake and clutch cylinders are recent with heat shield
FIAMM air horns
Good stereo with CD player and equalizer
Over-sized Howe aluminum radiator
IAP headlight relay kit
new interstate battery in 2019
New front brake calipers and flex lines
Very good silver re-paint
A little rust behind front wheels and the dash has a few small cracks.
Car has always been garaged or covered
Some spare parts included
Clear title
Starts and runs great
Handles great
Great fun to drive on the highway.

Recent parts:
Bosch Fuel pump
Bosch throttle switch
Fuel pressure regulator
Bosch fuel filter
High pressure fuel lines
Intake boots
Starter solenoid
New Falken 912 EX tires.

The Bad:
1. As almost all Alfettas, it had rust in the inner fender wells when I bought it. It was a California car, so the rust was minimal. I pulled the splash guards and blew the inner wells out with compressed air, then treated it with Eastwood rust encapsulator and have not seen any more signs of rust since. It's been garage kept and it has not gotten wet since I've owned it.
2. The starter grinds occasionally.
3. It has a broken front sway bar mount that needs to be re-welded.

Spare parts:
Complete late Alfetta GT Driveshaft.
Front, center and rear flex disks
ECU and wiring harness for TwinSpark
Air Flow meter
Fuel pump
Master and Slave clutch cylinders
Steel clutch hose
Fresh rear transmission mounts.
Spare fuse box.
Spare radiator.
Extra speedometer clusters.
Rear bearing press and (rare) star wrench tools.
Spare turn signal steering column cluster.
A box of more smaller parts.
Asking $9750.

Still available a few interested parties but sadly no one local to test drive this wonderful, strong Alfetta. Open to offers

Lot's of interest unfortunately all from the west coast... I am lowering my price to $8000. I am transitioning life from Mass to Florida and have to sadly thin the heard.

Push hard and live

I’ve got that much in the one I bought four or five months ago. Wish you’d posted earlier.
