I will take some as soon as I get it all cleaned up. It has wet sand/glazing residue on her now from the repaint.

Hey Kai:

Thanks for the kind comments. Actually the shinny pieces are all just polished out. All of those caps are great for polishing if you got some spare time. I did the radiator cap, the radiator overflow cap, the ATE brake master cap, and the OLIO cap. I got the valve cover off ebay for $90 and its very nice. To polish one of those you need some power tools and about 10 hours. I thought the $90 was a steal! Headers came shiny from IAP. But I have to hit them with 600grit every once in awhile to keep them looking good. I did the rest of the polishing with a 320 then 600 wet sand followed by mothers aluminum polish. All of it done by hand, no tools. Its really not very hard to do and about 45 minutes per cap. Those pics are grainy because it was midnight in the garage when I took them (not much light so I turned up the contrast). I will see if I can't get some better ones today and replace the grainy ones.

Best Regards,

Modified front turn signals from later Bosch

Ok....I felt left out by not having the white marker light in the turn signal assembly. So I took these from my parts car (84) and adapted them to my 78. I also rewired them so that the white marker and amber would both work. Applied a brighter bulb into the white section and changed the amber to a marker/flasher dual filament bulb. Here is the pic.

Hey Rob:

I liked yours and Paradiso's cars so much, I just this last week went and bought one sight unseen out of Florida......Now that's liking your car! Thanks for the comments. Those carbs are great and the sound is incredible. I have since the pics, finally located K/N Foam filters for those and now they have the red filters inside the filter holders. She is looking meaner than ever. I will get some better pics of her this week when her new sister arrives.

Hey Paul:

Thanks for the comments. If you got the extra funds, be sure to check out real HIDs to go into your Cibie housing. I bet it would be an incredible combination.

Hey Alex:

Thanks for the comments. I say a nice set of wheels is like looking at a nice set of legs. You can just set and stare for hours. On car show...I did win a trophy at that show I entered her in over the summer!:D And I deserved it for being surrounded by some rude ********. Got their **** portable pavilion tent post too close to the nose of my car...and you can imagine....I was getting pissed. But the reds weren't all bad. And being one myself.....I have to like some.:D

I actually just posted the picture of the wheel to host it for a PM. One of our Alfabb members just got a new ride that he has yet to announce and is considering wheel options. And if he is reading I say....wanna be like Mike? :D M in John M = Michael

Hey Max:

Thanks for the comments. Those headers came from www.international-auto.com here in the states. Better known as International Auto Parts. Those are their performance headers. Originally the car had a cast iron restrictive header. These IAP headers are nice....but there are better ones than these. The IAPs don't fit as good as they should.....but I made them work.

Hey JP,

Yes we'll match. Except you will have the better stainless bumpers. Speaking of Gangsta....did I tell you I am polishing out a set of phone dials for the 92!:D

Best Regards,
John M
