You should get that car out on some cement in the sunshine and use a bleach cleaner to get that green off of the paint and the top. It may well not have any rust but with out pics and seeing what you are posting, I'd never believe it. Good luck, it may be worth saving.
1975 Alfa Spider project
Here is another Alfa Romeo in the NW worth saving. This 1975 Spider is very solid, straight, complete... It has a clear, original title, no rust on body except the bottom of the spare tire well which obviously trapped water and rusted out. Rockers, fendors, panels are all solid. The floorpans are solid. Back in 2008, the owner took out the engine and then had the head & valves redone at Westbay in Port Orchard, WA. Owner never put the engine back in, though its reassembled and any reassembly parts are included. Car has been repainted but it wasn't the best prep and the paint needs redoing. Top looks pretty good but needs a rear window. Let me know your thoughts or questions. $1000 or best offer.
