I have had a 1974 Spider sitting in my driveway for a few years. Engine lost oil pressure and I replaced the car with a 1975 Spider in much better shape. Clean title. Except for the low oil pressure, everything worked well when it was parked.

It had a custom fiberglass spoiler replacing the standard front bumper when I bought it. Spoiler was well-made but looks a bit like a boy-racer add-on.

Interior has Koenig seats which need re-upholstery. Top is ripped but all rest is OK. All switches and gauges worked when parked.

Driver's door is missing. Grafted it onto my newer machine after that one got mangled.

Engine had a valve job and new clutch put in it just before the engine gave up. New exhaust system as I recall as well. I started to take off the head but stopped at the point of removing the timing chain. Thought I'd keep the head as a spare but don't know if that is worthwhile. Oil cooler on car which I might transfer to the newer machine.

Engine had Webers which I have removed but will consider selling either with the car or separately.

I'll post some pictures as soon as I can find them or I'll take some more.

Would really like to get it out of my driveway.

Sold - 77 Spider

The 77 Red Spider I had for sale has moved on. It will spend the rest of its days racing and enjoying itself. It is very nice to know if it going to be put to good use and continue to uphold the Alfa-Romeo heritage. Cheers.
