Time to sell my 1974 Spider. It's a driver, not a show car.
I’ve owned it for just over ten years and have added about ninety-five hundred miles over those years. Odometer reads approximately 93,500. No information about previous ownership.
Major work: rebuilt Wes Ingram SPICA pump and injectors; rebuilt transmission that includes the wonderful first gear fix by 60sRacer; Alfaholics drivers side floor plan to correct a rust hole near one of the seat mounts; replacement OVS by divotandtraleee; new vinyl window in canvas top installed two months ago.
Other: Koni reds all around and muffler installed some years back; refinished Personal wood steering wheel. No known rust.
The meh: trunk release broken (again) (I use the clutch cable that I added as an emergency release); wipers and fan not working (needs investigation); the interior needs work (that was on my to-do list)
Optional items: uncracked, used S2 dash and low profile Autosport roll bar.
The car drives nice. It puts a smile on my face and others who have driven it.
