I bought this GTV in 2010 with every intention of doing a full
restoration but plans have changed and am going sailing for
the duration of my retirement. Just not enough time for both.

Car is located in Chester county, west of Philadelphia.
Asking $15,000

1974 Alfa Romeo GTV - VIN AR3023547

Rosso red (AR-501/PPG 71818), black interior, ODO=126,700
Converted to 40 MM Dellorto carbs by prior owner and
believed to be running non-stock mild street cams
(9.75 approx. lift).
Electric cooling fan
BOSCH Electronic distributor
Gotti 2 piece 6X14 wheels. Sumitoma HTR200 tires, almost new.

Purchased car July, 2010. Since then the rear suspension
has been upgraded with poly bushings, red Koni dampers
and those yellow springs in March 2011. Also installed new
axel bearings and retention straps. Diff carrier re-sealed.
Rotors new and both calipers have new seals. Brake fluid
replaced.

Dash very good and does not have any top cracks but a prior
owner cut out a 4.5 X 1.5 inch hole probably for some guages
which they removed. All wood veneer is new by yours truely.
Seats are from a 66 GT per previous owner and are very nice
with no cracks.

Paint is nice with a few touchups. Some bubbling of paint
in passenger side rocker, lower fender and rear quarter.

Previous owner removed the side markers and they are included
in the sale. Also have bumper overriders.

Oil leak from oil galley plug behind head. Not sure about
head gasket. Typical second gear crunch but improves when
heated up.

No known accidents and there doesnt seem to be any evidence
of such. Rear is strait and trunk fits tightly.

been gone for the weekend and I'll get some more pics of rust issues
and interior monday or tuesday. dont know about the reason for the
small hole in the dash. I doubt it was for air since there is no evidence of
additional mods.

Ready to Buy - 1974 alfa gtv

Interesting enough i was just about to step out and buy a GTV Alfa Romeo when i saw your advertisement! I would rather have the original spica on the car but would entertain purchasing yours for a reasonable price.

Oh man, exactly what I'm looking for, but financially not ready just yet... I'm in Upstate NY too!
recent deal fell thru due to competition from another seller
looking for 10 K
any takers???
Did you see that he dropped his price from $15K to $10K??? I don't know the car, but a running GTV for $10K that looks relatively decent in photos is worth further investigation.
