It ran beautifully however the interior needed work. Plus, and most importantly, I had no agreement from my wife for this as a replacement for our Lancia Flavia.

I see they've dropped their price down to $21,500. Make sure the title is in the actual seller's name. Quiz them on it, make them show it to you. It should be less than six months old. Otherwise, what they are doing is called title jumping (illegal).

They paid $15K so that should give you quite a bit of negotiating room.

Will do. After saying that no work was done to the car the seller said he was into the car way more than 17.5k which was your list price and stated that he had it repainted. He still insists the car needs nothing and that I could "drive it anywhere". He seems a bit sketchy but a) hopefully its not a title scam b) he did not trash the car in the 5ish months he's had it. Thanks for the heads up

Ask for receipts since the end of July.

Maybe he repainted, maybe he buffed out the oxidation that was on the trunk. Rest of the paint looked good enough. When I saw it, the door cards had a pair of speakers in each, were raggedy at the bottom screws, and the mirror had packing tape holding it together. I don’t remember the condition of the dash.
The exhaust system had a significant back pressure rattle.

Yeah I have asked for receipts twice now, and I don't think he got it done. Im going to get him down to 15 or walk away...
