I have a solid 1969 Spider 1750. It is quite solid. California car, I have records back to the 70's.
Rust? Only two spots on the floors, originally I thought it was 100% rust free but after pulling the carpet out of the car I discovered this, it is minor.
Everything works, lights, instruments, etc.
Car has 2.0 bottom end so its no longer a 1750.
Full euro Carb conversion that was done back in the 70's so basically it is a euro-spec car, I have all documentation on this.
It is a project and does run but will need some work. I started restoration and kept it running the whole time.
I spent 2K on full suspension rebuild (all bushings/konis/springs/sway bars). Also $600 on some period correct "revolution" wheels. Oh and another $600 on brake and clutch hydraulics. Oh yeah and the transmission is freshly rebuilt only a few thousand miles ago, its shiny and leak free.
