Hi Everyone, I'm a carb rookie who is getting some tuning work done on my car. The technician doing the work is someone I trust. He took my 40DCOE32 carbs apart and found the venturi jets were 30mm while the accelerator pump jets are 80mm. He thought the 80mm was too big. Can anyone here weigh in and give us some direction? Many thanks.
Will

Some of those tiny stampings on Weber parts are easy to misread.
"30" can easily look like "80", since 3 and 8 have the same basic shape.
I keep a magnifying glass handy to check them with.
