Super Nice!! Great job. I had one put in and he did a fantastic job. I mentioned I had another one and he said he wouldn't do it at twice the price. I think he was kidding but also serious at the same time. Point is it's a difficult install and hard to get right and you did. I did the second one myself and had a few more grey hairs when it was all said and done.

Thanks gigem75. We are very happy with the result so far. Using slightly thicker foam around the edges made a big difference. For sure a job that requires immense patience and at times even 3 pairs of hands. Now to glue it in place and then we’ll finally be ready to install the front and rear windscreens.

My mistake was the holes for the grab handle. They are on both sides and it was only after I installed both sides did I realize the mounts were on both sides for RHD and LHD and only the passenger sides gets one. O well and I sure as heck wasn't going to take it out and start over especially since it was after the glass was in when the light bulb went off. :)

Thanks Yachtman. We certainly don’t have the workshop nor many of the tools, but it’s amazing what you can get done with dedication and a bit of family teamwork when you’re on a budget.

Headlight rings now properly installed after some great ingenuity from the old man. He even managed to use the correct screws we bought from Franjo Mokina. Great job Dad.

Also some other s/s trimmings fitted after many hours of polishing. She’s coming together nicely indeed.

Thank you kempton, Merv, Trich and gigem75. I thought we could do the resto in 2 years... here we are almost 4 years later. Now tantalizingly close to the finish tho. This car needs to be driven soon!
