Hey Fred
Great find, I have some entry lists from the sixty's and will revisit them to see if Toly raced it at Sebring that year.
I'm blown away. There were some local guys that raced Alfa's back then: Dr. Wilbur "King" Pickett, Guido Levitto,
who owned the San Remo restaurant a popular hang out during speed weeks, as well as a few other non alfa guys
Bill Cannons, Bill Bean. I'm sure I'm forgetting some but I will let you know what I find. This just made my afternoon.
Happy for you

Still available. Here’s the section about it in Toly’s book. Why have an ordinary SS when you can have this one with it’s fascinating history. (full tongue in cheek comment-all Sprint Speciales are special cars)

Hi Fred,

This is probably the same S.S. that I used to see on display at PSA in Atlanta, somewhere between 28 and 40 years ago. It is probably one of the few Alfas to complete the 24 hour race (Lol). I think the car belonged to Atlanta club member, Charlie Weber -way back then.

You might be wise to heed Toly's retrospective advice "don't sell car".

Thank-you Mark I believe you’re correct. I am selling the car on behalf of the owners who are simply not using it as much as it deserves. They’ve been great custodians but there’s always a time which means opportunity for someone else. Thanks again, Fred
