We're trying to remove the webers on this 101 and have encountered an issue. After dismantling most nuts I realized that the passenger side fender inside the engine bay is blocking it from being removed. The studs holding the webers in place pert-rude about 1/4 inch, There is not enough clearance between the air cleaner and the fender. So how do i get them off?

First you find this tiny Italian guy, named Gino, easy to spot, he's about 6 inches tall.
Standard problem. 2.5 pounds of noodles in a 2 pound bag. You might be talking about the cold air box studs on the Webers? If the bottom studs do not clear, loosen both engine mounts, nut off the induction side and slightly lift and tip the engine with a floor jack with a board on it under the sump. Not much lift will be possible without moving some other items. The generator will hit the steering box, hoses will s t r e t c h, headers will limit movement and so on. If you are trying to remove them with the air box in place, the issue is the same with the Webers to the rubber insulators. Removal of the air box, and then the front Weber (Linkage apart?) allows better access to the rear, but with little Gino's help under there, either technique will work. It does help to shift the engine some.
