I recently found this project '62 Giulia. Please let me know if anyone is interested. The car comes with the original numbers matching engine and 5 speed transmission, which is currently out of the car and in need of work. The car does have several areas of rust that need attention. The floor behind the driver's seat looks to be the worst area.
I saw this car for sale, and I have seen it in person, It is very complete and has all (as far as I could tell) the original parts. It is located in the Chicago suburbs. I think the guy was asking around $5,000. The phone number 1-708-474-1581. or 817-287-9619 cell.
Yes, this is the car. The owner seems very honest and straight forward. I have decided to pass on this Alfa b/c of too many other projects. I think $5,000 is pretty fair, but the owner wants to make sure it goes to a good home. He is not computer savvy, so I posted this for him.
The car is in Lansing IL. which is about 15 south of Chicago near I-80 and I-294 If you call the owner he can have some more photos sent to you. I have more photos of this car but I don't know how to post them on this site. Or I can send you what I have if you send me an email address to reply to. mine is [email protected]
Out of curiosity, did anyone buy this car? I wish I could be interested as I have wanted a Sprint since the mid-80s after visiting Alfa Heaven back in the day, but the garage is full. Let's see...get the 260Z back together, sold and...
