Technically it has a 750 chassis number & is a Tipo 750B, so yes it's a 750b or 750 Normale but more correctly it's what we know as a 750 Interim or Transition car.
The change from 750 Series 1 into 101 Series 2 wasn't a fast one, the metamorphosis took place over 2.5 years & while the nose & tail changed from the last Eyebrows Series 1 at chassis 1393E*06611 to the first of the Series II cars at chassis 1493*06612, the rest of the underpinnings, 750 engine & tunnel case 4 speed, plus the 750 front 4 bolt front suspension, open sills, 750 floor pressings etc, etc etc gradually changed & gave way to the 101 split case, then the 2 bolt front suspension, then the interim 101 engine with the 1315 designation (4299 engines), then closed sills then the bigger again 101 front suspension, the 00102 engines, the diff bearings changed and finally the aeroplane on the trunk lid gave way to the chrome number plate surround. This was the Interim or transition period between the pure 750 Series 1 and the pure 101 Series 2. Our 11 January '60 which is a late '59 spec car is one of these Interim or transition cars, but quite late as it has 101 floor pressings and closed sills
By contrast Pininfarina did it pretty seamlessly in the Spiders over 18 months and the biggest change was the 2" in the wheelbase with the then standardised 1/4 light windows to disguise the length of the doors.
I've had Sprints for 30 years now and I'm still learning about them
