After selling my Milano Platinum a few years ago, It's been a while since I last logged in to abb, however, I now find myself knee deep in the midst of a new restoration effort and I need to review as much information as possible to help get things right.

Our new project car is this 1959 Alfa Romeo 2000 Roadster by Touring.

The goal is authenticity throughout the car, by that I mean all correct original or restored parts and finishes. Any help in this regard, especially photos that show detail would be greatly appreciated. I will also be posting some pics of the car as we progress.

any large files (RAW pics) please send to my email address: [email protected]

Thanks,
Robert

Hi Rob, welcome to AlfaBB.

It would be helpful if you could tell us a little bit more about your car (chassis and engine numbers, known history, etc) and provide us with some pictures.

Well, perhaps some clarification may be in order, the car just came in the Alfa shop where I work during the day. It does not belong to me personally, but since I am tasked with much of the work that will be performed I thought it would be a good idea to ask and see what I might find. I'm away from the shop now until Monday morning, working at my nights and weekend job airbrushing clothing and gifts during Spring Break in Daytona Beach.

Some of my work here:

and here, (an older website I need to update):

I'll get those numbers if I can tomorrow, otherwise Monday, and post. I am sure we have the correct original engine and most of the parts, it's just some confirmation on a few details we're looking at that would be helpful. Any under hood and under dash pics?

Thanks,
Robert
