Hi everyone,

On the 1900 css fuel tank we have, I saw some replacement parts, and I don't think is very original !

somebody could help me, and tell me if it's really like that or not ?

Hi, from what I can see from the picture, it looks like the correct type fueltank.

But unfortunately the 2 panels which are srewed/welded onto the tank are not original, my own 2 fueltanks do not have anything welded on top.
It is hard to see the front side of the tank, where the smaller metal plate is placed , it looks to me that the shape of the tank has been altered on that side, it seems to be a sharp edge?
The fuelcap is also incorrect.

it seems to be the right tank, but maybe repaired? I restored two month ago my tank from my 1900 css 1956.

Thank you Andy and Michael for info.

On the pictures of your fuel tank, Andy, I see some screw heads protruding on the fuel tank. I already have that. what for ?

Michael, do you have a picture of your corrct fuel cap ?

I put others pictures of the fuel tank.

These are mounting rivets for a plate inside the tank
