I have a 1750 fuel injection system for which I have no use. It came off of engine number 0551 2950. It appears to be complete, including the pump, TA, intake manifold, throttle bodies, air cleaner etc. The pump had oil in it when I removed it from the motor, and I didn't detect any fuel in the oil I drained from the sump. However, I have no idea if the pump would need rebuilt. $175 or best offer + shipping for everything.

The pump does have a fuel cut-off solenoid. So I assume it is correct for a '71. Interested?

Just checked the numbers on the pump. The model is T237/2 and the serial number is 7607. The T237/2 matches the pump number on two '71 1750 motors I have stored under the bench, so it would make sense that this one is for a '71 as well.

I'm interested in the TA and pump alone, if you'd sell it that way, if no one goes for the whole system.
71 pump will work on any year; it's like all the later pumps. Difference is in the 3D camoid inside, tailored to a 1750. Probably in normal driving you'd never know the difference on a 2000, just set it a little richer. It's not really the right way to do it though.
A guy on ebay right now has a 71 pump he took off his 78 Spider, and said it was fine. Conversely, I got a 74 pump off a 1750 Spider, and the guy said it was fine.

Never heard back from the person who wanted to know if it was correct for a '71. So I put it on ebay today.

Andrew, I have a second system from which I would sell you the pump and TA. Send me an email or PM if you want them.

I thought that must have been yours.

My 69 has the 71 system on it so I'll be doing the same once I tear down the engine. I've seen several 69's with the later system, which I speculate happened because Alfa would have used the later system when a 69 pump went bad.

Good luck with the sale!
