FS 1750 Bare block and oil pan. Block is clean, oilpan is disassembled and clean. Pm me at [email protected] for pics and prices

John

It appears the block is a two(2) litre block with serial# ARO 1500 *07267*
Anyway, it is for sale

My apologies for the error

Thanks John.

Two more questions if you don't mind.
Is the engine number located on the left bellhousing flange?
Might the number possibly be AR01500*07267*?

I suspect it may be a 2l, not a 1750.

Hey Jim,
You certainly know your Alfas. You are correct in that the number is in fact ARO 1500*07267*
The digit 1 was kind of obscured. So it looks like I got snookered when I bought this block. I am new to the Alfa game and this is proof.

Good luck in finding what you need

An easy way to tell is a 1750 has the oil filter canister attachment on the block; 2000 has a spin-on on the front cover.

Andrew,
Thank you for the valuable information, it confirms that the block I have for sale is definitely a 2.0 litre.

John,

You might want to start a new thread referencing the 2L block. No one looking for a 2L is going to glance at a 1750 ad. Just reference the new thread on the last post.

Hi Brad,
Thanks for the suggestion, I was going to do that but was out of town for a few days and didn`t get to it.
