I dropped the rear suspension out of my 164S to do a full rebuild but found both strut/shock housings are too rusty. Anyone have a pair they'll part with? I'm not too concerned with the functionality of the shock absorbers since my intention is the rebuild those. I have all the new strut rebuild parts such as bearings, bumpers, gaiters, and replacement springs, so can get by with just the housings but will consider new or good used parts. No rusty iron please!

Could also use new or used strut bolts, brake rotor backing plates (or as labeled in the Alfa shop manual “ brake disc protectors”), L & R adjustable rear control arms (toe-rods), load proportioning valve and linkage assembly, and 1 phonic sensor.

Thanks,

Richard2,

Just noticed your reply... Rear crossmember is solid.

Still looking for the parts mentioned. Have been offered L struts but trying to stay with the S versions.

Jason (Alfissimo) have anything?

Can be a combination of new & used parts. I expect new S struts, if they're even available, would be very pricey, so used is preferred. Other items can be new.

Thanks,
