Anyone see this car for sale on Ebay?
Item number: 190164345634
No idea what the reserve is but if you can get it at a great price, you can import it over here and have one awesome car!

They are quite inexpensive in Japan too. I have seen a couple of 164 Q4s (they are all LHD of course) go for 2500 - 4000 USD range recently. In Japan, very, very few people are interested in the 164s in general.

The question is, how importable are these cars to the USA? (Also, how reliable is the Q4 system...and who could work on them?)

You would have to do it yourself + rely on help from other owners around the world and here on the BB. I have not had a problem so far with the Viscomatic system. As far as importing one thats a hard one that would be fun to try.

No RHD cars were made.

Here is some good reading on the Q4 164 Mechanical

If it is real it would cost you $30k+ to federalize here in the US.
