Hello i am about to install a 3.0 lt 24v in 116 series and i am debating the installation of a light turbo set up can you offer some advice?

Well first you have to modify the 24V engine to fit in the 116 body.

How it can be done you can find here:

Then you have to consider to fit a turbo to the engine. Normally when fitting turbo to the 12V engine two turbos are used. In the 24V application its doubtful that there is place for two turbos, so a single turbo could be the answer. Although everything is possible if purse is big and engineering backing is good! Here an example of a single turbo project:
