Some of us have upgraded/ changed our 164's, from mild to wild.
Please post your pics and or descriptions here.
For example, on my LS, I have 16" Alfa Euro Spider wheels, "L" rear springs to lower the jacked up LS butt, and steering wheel with color logo.

Both of mine are stock, but other people have posted about the mods they have done...

Here are photos of a customers 164 LS. He has my 18" Type 3 wheels and some custom body and paint work. The overall result is amazing.

Here's mine...

I loved modifying this car - everything seemed to make a difference.

  • Euro Headlights (essential)
  • Adjustible Koni's
  • B&G Springs
  • Euro Intake Runners
  • Squadra Chip
  • Stebro Exhaust
  • Stebro Bypass Pipe
I highly recommend all of these upgrades.
Nice! That is what I was hoping to see! How does the Squadra chip work? Any low end difference?
What size and type wheels?

The Squadra chip definitely improves low end grunt, though I found noticeable improvement throughout the rev-range. How does it work? It sends different signals to the cars brain, telling it to do things at different times...? That's about all I know, or care about.

The wheels are Racing Dynamics with brigestone potenza tires - 215/45/17 allround. I had some carbon fiber center caps made with the alfa logo in silver - looks nice with the hyper silver finish of the wheels.

The Stebro downpipe and full Stebro exhaust is just fanatastic for the 24v in my opinion. The car is much more responsive and sounds so incredible (like a Ferrari V8). It is a must do to me. You will also gain some nice horsepower from the "full" system.

Also, 156 GTA intake cams are a big upgrade as well. They have more duration and a tad more lift. The intake cams will amazingly increase the low end due to teh duration and the increased ramp and design provide a noticable top end pull.

You gotta tell us about the Stebro (bypass) system you have...
Any stats? Sound clips?

Agreed with the above comments - the full system really frees up the breathing.

Even if it didn't make a performance improvement, the sound is worth every single penny... Aesthetically nice too, I ordered the twin round tips & they just barely protrude from the cut out in the lower valance. The fitting did require some "finessing", though I wouldn't say that it was difficult to fit.

I do have a video of my car racing through a tunnel on tape, but it will take me a while to convert it to an up-loadable file due to being incredibly busy...
