I've read all of the posts in the deigest about the 164, but I would like to get some specific info regarding the Q. I will most likely be buying one in the next few weeks. The one I'm looking at is a 95 with 65k on the clock, Complete service history, a stebro cat-back, and an aftermarket stereo system.

What are things I should be looking for when I inspect the car? I know to try all of the electic functions, look for rust in the wheel wells and under the windscreen seal. What are some of the other big items to check?

Thanks All,
Brian

PS Looking forward to becoming an Alfa Owner!

Stepper Motor!

Also check the fenders for rust, classic Alfa rust spot.

And ofcourse if you go for a testdrive and the owner is talking, tell him to shutup so you can listen. Make sure you test drive the car when it's warm. I know my Milano when it heats up you can hear the driveshaft donuts really well  .. Also when my car heats up the oil psi drops just like on the gtv6.

Good luck.
