Have any other 24v drivers tried to buy front discs and been plastered by adverts for great discs/rotors 284mm diameter and 22mm thick? Don't buy them.
24v cars need 281mm diameter discs/rotors that are 26mm thick. The 24v car is significantly more powerful and a bit heavier than the 12v 164s.
Still find it annoying when sellers offer 22mm discs for 24v cars, even when performance versions and some then add long disclaimers about how they should not be used for heavy braking or parked while hot as could warp.
24v = 26mm
Simple point to remember. :)

Either will work fine, OK. I am currently running 24v 57mm piston Lucas calipers with 12v 284mm/22mm thick rotors on my 164S as both 12v 54mm and 24v 57mm calipers use the same size brake pads.

Granted thicker 24v rotors have greater vented distance between surfaces for greater cooling but braking surface the same for both 281mm and 284mm thickness rotors

Guess it comes down to how you drive. Have heard of several 24v drivers suffering warped front discs - presumably using the 22mm thickness ones. Alfa wouldn't have upped them to 26mm for the series 2 cars without a reason; assuming Alfa were being logical for once ;-)
