FWIW, this car with chassis number AR*191551 was on eBay in 2013 (reserve not met, seller "foxyroxygirl1" = International Auto Group in Florida) and sold in Jan-2015 at RM Auctions in Scottsdale for USD 115,500 (see here). Add buyer's premium, taxes, transport and FJ consignment fees, and you'll probably end up at about $160k without making much of a profit. Usually, FJ has a pretty good idea what money the market bears, else they wouldn't accept list the car.

The color Verde Pino (which IAG called British Racing green) just doesn't work for me. The car is a USA model (sold to Hoffmann in Dec-62) and was originally painted Rosso Alfa.

Weldon Ruedy !

What "FWIW" means ?

There is a lot to say about this car and its price.

Let's see if FJ manage to sell it...

Serge, FWIW is short for "for what it's worth" (pour ce que ça vaut).

Just posting for posterity. Seems like a high water mark pricewise for these cars. Its not even presented as a "best of the best". But hey, it comes with a tool kit!

1963 Alfa Romeo 2600 Spyder

Buyer BEWARE OF THIS CAR !

I inspected this car about 3 years ago in florida when IAG owned it
and than sold or moved of the radar and came back up for sale an other dealer that put it up at one of the auction house sold to some poor sole and now on this site.
One word that says it all lot of "BONDO" !
