Ha gotcha!

But not entirely lying!

Not sure if this car is legal or not but I think some people picked up 164 Q4's from Diplomats.

2007 Alfa Romeo 159 - 2.2 JTS

Well, it may be for sale, but the minute it is not owned by a diplomat it becomes a non-compliant vehicle subject to all current D.O.T. and E.P.A. regs... The diplomat seller is in for a surprise...

Best regards,

Maybe....159 and alfa romeo are tradmarked in the US now and I believe that they where already made to US specifications but I am sure it is completely illegal. But this was not a serious post. I just thought it was a fun post... he he he... fun, you know? haha laugh...
no one has ever given up the ghost on how they own and register their Q4's here in the states. We all know that there are at least three or four here on the bb. I want a definitive answer to the logistics! Yes I know all about the DOT/EPA stuff and I am quite sure that these Q's have not gone that route. GIVE ME THE INFO, THROW ME A BONE PEOPLE ;)
wonder if you could go thru a title company get get it forced thru?

obviously a "reconstructed" title would be an option as well
i find it funny, out of all the cars a diplomat can own, they have a 159 shipped or driven (from Mexico?)... Talk about getting "off" on bending the rules while residing in the US, a nice Beemer or Merc wouldnt do... hah
I don't think this 159 was a Mexican diplomats car and the Q4's Jason talks of could have been brought over by Italian diplomats. I can see the Italian counsulate having an issue with shipping and paying for a BMW or Mercedes if they manufacture their own vehicles back home.
There are at least two modern Alfas in NYC, owned by Italian diplomats...

Best regards,
I don't think this car is a mexican diplomat's car either, I was only stating that if it were not shipped, the most likely place it could be driven from is....

Anyways, please note we've all been talking about a car that could easily be in Europe based on the pictures, heh.
Not that there havent been any 159's driven on the roads of the US, hell there was one in SW form test driven by a member of this board in LA.

Nice hoax for now, until proven differently.

One last note, the car's price is absolutely ridiculous from what one can speculate for the 2.2 159 currently selling overseas. Please dont get me started on this again... heh.

And they (yes, plural) are still here, at one of the Ferrari headquarters to be precise, and not necessarily sitting idle...

Best regards,
Hmm, a mass produced, FWD, overweight, car on a GM platform and an Opel/GM engine, not street legal... or the new BMW M3 with 420hp, 8400rpm redline, RWD, steet legal.... tough choice......

Not!!!!!!!!

Hmmm...allow me to respond by quoting yourself:

Repost times 10.
Yeah, we get the picture; we've heard it all before from you.
Russian,
Whats up dude? Need a hug today?

This battle you have been on for while now seems to me to be a compensation for a lack there of. That is my educated hypothesis.

A vendetta on an mechanical object not suiting your taste sure seems like a waste of time IMO because none of us on a "alfa" forum really care.

I think your time would be better spent spanking your monkey to internet porn then copy and pasting your same response all over the alfa forum! Find some friends, get a job without internet access, go to the bar and meet people if your old enough?
Try to take your anger from this to something positive that can better your life and the people around you. Living a life on the internet as the BMW spokes person seems like a waste if your not getting paid by BMW.

Yes, M3 is a great car no doubt there. I have owned many BMW's and loved all of them. Will that make you shut up now? Just curious?

Hmm, a common imbecile, obnoxious, on a platform desperate for attention and fueled by self-praise, with nothing positive to contribute ever... or the RussianM3_dude.... No, sadly, it's not even close to a "tough choice......"

AMEN! Enquiring minds want to know. Alls I want is 156 or 159 GTA sportwagon, is that so wrong? (rhetorical question, Russkie )
Should I respond? Ill try to spare you guys, I know it's tiring, i do try to ignore him but on top of offending people on this board many times, he just spews falsities.. heh

Hmm, a mass produced
a mass produced? as opposed to what? your precious BMW 3 Series? haha

overweight,
Hmm.. Let's get into reality land.. you know.. when two somewhat comparitive products are looked at,

2007 BMW 320i ES 2.0 (170hp) weighs 1475 kg
2007 ALFA 159 JTS 2.2 (184hp) weighs 1490 kg

Please understand, We all have agreed the car is overweight, but that's because Alfa owners have very high standards when it comes to cars weight/handling characteristics...

Dont for a second think that means we'll let you go on and on about it being overweight compared to BMW though. Because that, like most of what you say, is a lie.

Lastly, how can you possibly compare a 2.2 159 ...to the BMW M3??!!

Yea it kinda is a tough choice, for anyone comparing two opposite pole choices would be? ..really, one costs GBP 20,995 base price the other costs a GBP 50,620 base price..

I think I can safely say you have yet to post anything credible or without misleading attempts on this board... in? over a year? i think you should stick to italiaspeed where no one likes you either.
