Paint looks great. Reminds me of mine during the process, even the primer pic. Except.... In that pic, what's the dot to the right of the tail light?

After removing the overspray, some white base coat had just been re-applied and still wet, that made the color to be a bit darker.
For this color an even white base coat is required.

Could not resist not to stop over at the shop...
Approved from the misses :x

Twins!

How will you know which car is which? Are you going to paint the noses like the racing cars did?

Enough nose jobs done already :grin2:
One has a flat '67 dash the other a '70 dash as per correct model year, but there are other clear distinct differences between the cars.

Bought a nice emblem and fitted the Alfaholics C-kit.
Ik know, I have fitted old shortened straps, just in case I am not satisfied with the height.
I am still flexible in this stage and I will modify the new straps when I am satisfied with the height.

Ok found some time to work on the car, starting with the headlining installation.
Making an extra bow from some 6mm hot rolled rod material, used and original as a template for the jig.

Test fitting the bows 1 and 3

The GTA headlining

Yes its black...

Adding some heat shrink to the ends

Made bow 2 a bit shorter and hung it off on the hooks already on the roof and secured them with some stainless steel wire

Final test fit, not bad for first attempt

Next step installing foam, ironing vinyl and getting it back in.
Ordered 5+8+10mm thickness of foam and try what fits best.
Also ordered ±6m of various length paper clamps :grin2:

Great job.

Just wondering if that stainless steel wire might cause an annoying rattle one day ...

Seliquella,
First, compliments to the chef!! The quality of your work is great to watch. Really nice new stuff, installed really nice.
I have a couple questions. It looks like you‘re using Koni yellows with the Alfaholics Kit C. What setting are you starting out at? And is that a 1” spacer under the rear top shock mount?
Thanks!
