Trying to complete the front suspension design for my Dio-Tipo Alfa build.
I have most of it but would like to replace the stock lower ball joint with a more standard design that incorporates a threaded shank.
I will be fabricating custom tubular arms top and bottom.
All I really need to know is the size and taper of the stock ball joint as I will be re-using the stock spindles.
Tried a lot of 'Net and site searching to no avail.
Hoping some of the newer Alfa's might use the same taper but a current type joint?

Ok, got it.
7.5º taper. Not the most common.
Measured top and bottom, drew it in CAD, used an alalysis tool for the answer.
Then found a faster way on-line, math.
