Hi All,

Am restoring a 1750 Berlina (RHD), and have a 2000 donor car as well. Am cleaning up the fuseboxes and noticed the 2000 (which is in better condition) has an extra connector than the 1750. See pic below, that shows the 2000 box with a double connnector, where as 1750 is a single connection at the same point.

Does anyone know what the extra was for on a 2000? And if I use it in the 1750, am I right to assume the double connector won't make any difference if I'm just using it for a single connection?

Cheers for any info, I'm useless with auto electrics!

Hi mate,

no worries about single, double connectors. From memory you have there the wires for fan, dashboard switch or wipers (I can't remember).

Just check what is yours on position 2 & 3 today and guess if it can work together on the futur fuseboxes (position 2 & 3 together).

I'm pretty sure there is no difference.
