  3. 1978 Spider - Blowing smoke - Found reason - Don't understand it.

    Spider - 105 & 115 Series (1966-1994)
    So I found out why my Spider has been intermittently blowing smoke while I drive. It looks like this "Catch-can" that is connected to the cam cover and intake is allowing oil into the throttle body closest to the front of the vehicle. What is this can? PCV? I replaced all the lines today...
  4. 1978 Alfa Spider - Blowing Smoke from Hose connected to valve cover...

    Spider - 105 & 115 Series (1966-1994)
    I checked compression - cylinders 1&3 are at 60 psi and cylinders 2&4 are at 150. When the car is running, it blows smoke out of the hose connected to the outlet on the valve cover beside the oil cap. This same outlet also has another hose connected to it, I guess for fuel... Rings? Valves...
