Have noticed the exhaust seems to corrode the rear bumper mount/fixings above it. Where these attach to the rear bumper they are embedded in it so how to change them once they get corroded?
Is changing them possible? I can't think of any way of removing the old and implanting new bolts into...
My big bottom engine mount is shot and have a new one to put in but how? Some people say the subframe needs to be dropped, others say a new one can be squeezed in just by 'upping' the engine via a support under the sump.

Upon inspection of my recently acquired 83 Spider I noticed the grey wire "flywheel" sensor was missing from the bell housing under the car. And with that so was the aluminum mounting block/bracket.
Does anyone know where to find a replacement mounting block?

Uh oh, guys. My Spider has been making this creaking noise over every bump and turn. At first I thought it was a muffler problem (I've had to weld my muffler at least 4 times over 6 years) but then I found this.
