1976 Spider Intake Manifold - Power Coated and Never installed.
Should be good on any 2L 115 or 116 Alfa from 1972 to 1980.
Came with my car when I purchased from a guy that was converting the 1986 EFI to Carbs. I built the EFI system back and do not need.
$100 OBO plus shipping cost.
After a split main air intake hose for a 24v 164 3.0 was replaced a year ago with an aftermarket item, I thought it would be problem solved for years to come. I was wrong, as the aging signs on the pictures of it show.
This has inspired me to start looking at making up my own hose from separate...
I'm fairly new to this forum and I like what I've read. I though I'd come here for some advice.
My 1980 Spider started to idle rough and stall, so I opened the hood and found the culprit - bad vacuum lines. To get to them, I needed to remove some air intake parts -...
86 Spider - Restoration - Father and Son Project
Hi AlfaBB members,
My first post, of what will likely be many.
My son and I are mechanically restoring his black Alfa Romeo, Spider Veloce. He's 15 (yes, you read that right), learning a lot and anxious to get it to running condition and...
I owned a Giulietta Spider Veloce for 20 years that a previous owner had converted from a Normale to a Veloce. In 1997, I removed most of the Veloce parts and stored them in my garage. I'm now cleaning out the garage, so i have for sale:
* a 1600cc Veloce engine AR00121-02226...
I had this euro manifold on my 78' 2.0L spider. It worked great but necessitated the use of a block off on the bypass inlet of the 2.0L water pump. I've since switched to a later euro manifold and am selling this one.
This is the earlier manifold, which should fit 1300/1600 and larger...
OK. Last night I completely re-assembled things on my '89 Graduate after replacing water pump, radiator, shroud, belts and hoses.
I hooked everything up as I disassembled it and refilled the coolant per instruction on the BB. The whole time I had a feeling I was forgetting something.
I recently bought an 86 GTV6. When I got it, it started right up no problems. Since the car was unknown to me I decided to install a new timing belt. The procedure wasn't hard the instructions gave me every thing I needed to know. However now that I have it all back together it will not start...
I am a new member to this part of the forum (I have posted in the GT 1963-1977 section previously as I had a couple of GTs). I just bought a magnificent white 1981 GTV6 from the original owner's family. It has 155k miles on it and has been sitting a in garage for the past 13...

K&N 69-0500TWR K&N Aluminum High-Flow Intake Systems
I just replaced my motor mounts and now appear to have a very high idle speed after doing the passenger's side. I followed the excellent advice on this forum and removed the intake manifold to get access to it (including removing the throttle body from the manifold and attached sensors), five...
I will be using the bigger 45mm intake runners on my 3.0 24v engine and I would like to retain the original look under the hood, so I am looking to buy the OEM rubber couplings and clamps. They come for example in 164 with the 230hp 24v engine, in all GTA models etc ..
I am looking for a SS-1600 intake plenum, complete or just the top half with the round air intake hose to the filter.
Any condition welcome.
Please send pm with a picture and your asking price.
Thank you in advance.
The intake duct on my 1993 Spider S4 (Black) recently came loose. It took a day to figure out what it was and tighten up again (it was cutting out in 1st and 2nd gear).
Now the engine cuts out on idle, rest is fine. Does the air flow meter need recalibrating or something?
