i let a 73 spider sit for 9 years and its tank is rusty and full of varnish. Looking for a clean, non rusty (inside) tank for Spica injected spider. If I don't find one, I'll have to cut the filler neck off a perfectly good 71 Berlina tank I have. Hate to do that if there is a good spica...
  5. GT (1963-1977)
1966 Sprint GT Veloce has the original Fispa gas tank in it. It holds gas, but is rusty inside. I found a place that will media blast the inside and coat it with a Kreem-type product. The process of media blasting the inside is cutting two access windows in the tank, blast, then weld them up...

  10. Spider - 105 & 115 Series (1966-1994)
Hey Everyone, I am currently trying to get a '76 Spider back up and running after 20 or so years. Gas was left in the car, so I have been gone through the whole system and cleaned it, including flushing the metal fuel lines and replacing the rubber ones. The system also has a new inline filter...
  11. Spider - 105 & 115 Series (1966-1994)
My '79 Spider with Spica injection seems to have an extra fitting on the gask tank that doesn't have anything to connect to! There are three fittings next to the fill neck, one is the fuel return (recirc) and one is the vapor vent going to the seperator tank. Can anyone tell me where the other...
